Frequently asked questions

Is the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Tiffany-style Table Lamp handcrafted with real stained glass?
Yes, the TARBEN lamp is handcrafted using the same techniques developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the early 1900s. Each piece of stained glass is hand-cut and wrapped in fine copper foil. Because the lamp is handmade, the exact color of glass pieces may vary from one lamp to another.
What rooms is the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Victorian Table Lamp suited for?
The TARBEN lamp is designed for indoor use and is described as a perfect lamp for a library or bedroom. It is a downlight style, which directs light downward, making it well suited for reading or accent lighting in those spaces.
What are the dimensions of the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Tiffany-style Table Lamp?
The TARBEN table lamp measures 16 inches long by 16 inches wide by 22.44 inches tall. The shade has a square shape, and the lamp weighs 9.48 lbs.
What type of stained glass is used in the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Table Lamp?
The TARBEN lamp uses hand-cut stained glass pieces, each wrapped in fine copper foil in the traditional Tiffany style. The glass is 0.12 inches thick. Note that colors of the glass will appear darker and less vibrant when the lamp is not illuminated.
What bulbs does the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Table Lamp require?
The TARBEN lamp requires two E26 medium base A19 bulbs with a maximum of 100 watts each. It is compatible with incandescent, LED, and compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs. Bulbs are not included with the lamp.
How is the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Table Lamp switched on and off?
The TARBEN lamp uses a pull chain switch. This is a standard control method for table lamps of this style and allows easy on and off operation without reaching for a wall switch.
Does the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Table Lamp require assembly?
Yes, some assembly is required. The box includes the glass shade, lamp base, threaded pipe, and finial, which need to be assembled before use.
What materials make up the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Victorian Table Lamp?
The TARBEN lamp is made from glass, resin, metal, and electrical components. The stained glass shade is finished with mineral oil as part of the production process, and a soft dry cloth should be used to remove any excess oil.
What is the recommended light output for the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Table Lamp?
The TARBEN lamp supports up to 1600 lumens and a color temperature of 2400 Kelvins, which produces a warm amber-toned light. This warm output is typical for Tiffany-style lamps and complements the stained glass shade.
How should I clean and care for the CHLOE Lighting TARBEN Tiffany-style Table Lamp?
Wipe the TARBEN lamp clean with a dry cloth only. The stained glass has been treated with mineral oil during finishing, so a soft dry cloth should also be used to remove any excess oil from the glass surface. Avoid using wet or abrasive cloths.
